A leather covered wood case with brass lock marked "Pat Mar 1869". 10 of 14 original bottles with ground glass stoppers are present. Also present is a card of surgeon's silk by Tiemann and a Tisserand finger cot with instruction sheet. The larger bottles are 1 1/2" square and 4 1/2" high, including stopper and are marked "A.A.C."; the middle size are 1 1/8" by 1 3/8", and also marked "A.A.C."; the smallest are 1" by 1 3/16" and are marked "N.S.". Each size bottle fits in an appropriate size opening in the box. Labels read "Aromatic Spt. Ammonia, Cholera Mixture, Bicarbonate Soda, Ess. Jamaica Ginger, Bromidia, Quinine Sulphate, Tinct Iodine, Antibillous Pills, Pil Triplex, Rhinitis tablets (in round bottom bottle from Haas Pharmacy, N.Y.). The stitched leather covering is loose on both ends of the wood box and a leather carrying strap is missing. Most of the bottles have contents, one bottle has no label.
