A cast iron Burrall sheller marked “Improved Right Hand Burrall Corn Sheller, Rumsey & Co., Seneca Falls, NY, No. 2” and “Fig 520, 1890”. Unlike all other Burrall shellers I have seen, there are no patent dates marked on this sheller. If “1890” refers to the date of manufacture, this would be after Burrall’s 1865 patent renewal would have expired, and the dates would not be required.
