Cast iron foot treadle grindstone
The cast iron trough is marked "Manufactured by Athol Machine Co., Athol, Mass". 36" high, with a 13 1/2" diameter stone. A counterweighted crank allows easy starting off dead center. The wheel and bearings are in good usable condition. The heavy oak pitman is a modern replacement. A very attractive and uncommon model of the treadle grinder for the non-electric work shop.
