Small Hand Cranked Post Drill
A small single speed hand cranked post drill, unmarked, but quite similar to the smallest 1890's models from Champion Blower & Forge. The 12" flywheel is back geared and the hand crank has adjustable throw. The table is 6" in diameter and the 6" clearance to post allows drilling of 12" diameter work. Hand wheel or auto feed by means of adjustable cam driven pawl. The spindle must be manually raise by the hand wheel. The spindle is bored for 1/2" round shank bits and is fitted with a 1/4" shank adapter. Good working order.
