Champion Blower and Forge Co. No 200 1/2 Post Drill

The No. 200 1/2 hand cranked post drill has a massive 25" five "S" spoked flywheel, essential for heavy work on a hand powered machine. There is an equally impressive feed lever as well as the patented power feed mechanism (U.S. Patent 767282, Aug 9, 1904). The power feed half nuts can be instantly engaged or disengaged by turning a hand wheel. When disengaged, the spindle is returned to the top of its travel by means of a strong spring. The adjustable table is 12" in diameter. The drill can handle work over 18" in diameter. The spindle is bored to accept 1/2" round shank bits.

The machine is in good working order. The handle of the hand crank is wrapped in friction tape and feels like a piece of the wood is missing, but turns freely.
