Crown Wheelbarrow Seeder
Crown Mfg Co., Phelps, NY was making wheelbarrow seeders as early as the 1880's. The triangular seed box is just under 14 ft long. The 30" diameter iron wheel drives an oscillating mechanism to move the twisted feed wire back and forth. The Crown has a metal frame and handles with turned wooden ends. Good working order. I've used this many times to seed cover crops in large garden plots. The only problem is being able to see where you had seeded so as not to overlap or leave bare strips.
