Foot powered book binder
Marked “Acme Binder No. 6, Pat’d Jan 8, 1895”. The binder is mounted on a 16” x 24” oak table on nicely shaped cast iron legs and with a decorative cutout cast iron treadle. The mechanism seems to be in working order and takes approx. 1/2” wide fasteners. Some sort of adjustment rod does appear to be missing under the table and no staples are present. The machine can be shipped UPS after disassembly or held for buyer pickup on your next trip to Maryland.
