Electrikure Quack Medical Battery

A large quack battery by "Seeger & Clarke, sole inventors, manufacturers and managers, New York City". Seeger & Clarke entered the "Electrikure" trademark Jan 1, 1895. The device is 11" high with its 4 1/2" diameter 9 position power control mounted on top. The bakelite switch and original green cloth covered wires and ankle electrodes are in fine condition. The upper curved portion of the thin metal battery container has severe damage, causing separation of the switch, which has been repaired with an internal rod. The box is in good condition, with a large paper label inside the lid with instructions for use.
