Broom Corn Thresher
A belt driven machine for stripping the seeds from broom corn. In addition to the usual revolving drum of spikes, this example has a belt driven blower. 20 inch threshing drum, 12" flat pulley with 4 1/2" face, 18 1/2" flywheel, 27" x 43" footprint. The fan is driven by a belt from the main shaft. Easily powered by a 1 1/2 hp hit and miss engine or a 1/2 hp electric motor.
