Formacone Formaldehyde Room Disinfector

A hollow chalkware pine cone mounted on a wood wall plaque. Made by The Formacone Co., 50 Church St., N.Y.". The hollow cone is 9 inches long with a 3/4" diameter well for holding liquid formalin. A metal cap chained to the wood is used to cover the opening when not in use. One of the most unusual formaldehyde room disinfectors. The paper label on the wood back is no longer legible. The finish on the chalkware has some minor chips (see photos). Good condition - makes an attractive wall hanging. For another example of the Formacone see Formacone.
