Barnes No. 5 Parts
This Barnes No 5 is complete and in fine condition, but lacking ALL accessories. I usually horde Barnes parts for my next treadle lathe, but need the space this machine is taking up downstairs in my electrified shop. A new (old) wood shaper and 8" jointer are on my truck now, waiting for space.
headstock - sold
change gear bracket, large and small spoked gears, stud with original hand nut - sold
tailstock - $85
carriage, complete, including double half nut assembly and gears, (no tool post) - sold
lead screws with gear and two nuts - $25 each
bed $50
The user made cabinet for this lathe when used with a Barnes countershaft. - sold (pickup only)
All above prices are plus UPS or the items can be picked up in Maryland. I'm not sure if UPS can take the bed.
