Myers Pump Jack

This Myers Simplex working head is comprised of a Myers Simplex pump standard and a Myers Faultless pump jack. The jack was typically powered by a 1 1/2 hp hit and miss engine and is fitted with a tight and loose pulley for this purpose. The jack can be instantly removed by simply lifting it off the lugs cast in the pump stand. The hand lever replaces the jack when power is not required.

I had considered using this jack to power an up and down saw years ago, but now all the engines have been sold and I need more space in the barn for the woodworking machines.
