Jack Shaft

I use this jackshaft in the above configuration to test run flat belt machines at an appropriate speed from the 1750 rpm motor. It can be used in the reverse configuration to speed up a typical slow line shaft to power a table saw or other machine. The two pulleys are 9" in diameter x 1 3/4" wide and 4" in diameter x 2" wide. The bearings are reversible so the shaft can be hung from the ceiling or mounted on the floor.

The jackshaft alone is being offered for sale and can be shipped UPS ground. If you can pick up this item, the plank and motor will also be included, if desired. The motor is an old Emerson 1/4 hp, single phase, 110 volt. It's starting circuit isn't working, so I have to tug on the belt to get it started. Otherwise, it works fine and is easily reversible.
