This spoke pointer has an MT1 stem fitted with an MT1 to MT2 sleeve. The maximum size work would be around 1 7/8" diameter. A lathe mounted pointer must be a good way to prepare large numbers of spindles for the hollow auger, but I haven't tried that.
Unmarked, except for the sleeve, which is marked "Morse Twist Drill & Mch Co., New Bedford, Mass". The tulip fluting on the exterior suggests it was made by Stearns. Complete and very good condition.
