NOTES
2/4/2008 Please note that large email messages (over 50k) to this website are not downloaded to my mail program. This is due to our very slow dial-up connection, which can take up to an hour to download the huge image attachments that are frequently sent to us.
7/15/2007 We will be away until Friday, July 20, and unable to check our email. Mail will be read and answered in the order received next weekend.
1/4/2007 The dusty corners of this site are finally being revised this week. 0ver 500 of a total of 8000 files have been deleted to make room for new material. These were mostly old ad pages and some nest cam images. Also, pages that contain the old PO box address are being revised to delete that address. When I closed the PO box, I didn't realize that forwarding to our rural route address would delay the mail by 10 days or so.

On another note, this site is now being spoofed regularly, rather than once or twice a year. This results in hundreds of bounced emails returning to me, rather than to the spammers, making the evening mail check a real challenge. There are only two user names at American Artifacts.com - richard and smma. Anything else is a forgery from a spammer. This is, of course, true of all viral spam. The return address is not the person that sent you the spam.
